The Pinnacle Solution

For this project, the Pinnacle Group partnered with an architectural-designer, a landscape & patio firm, along with a talented interior designer. Beginning with a fresh canvas on which to convey the transformation process was accomplished by providing both 2D and 3D CAD-rendered drawings. Once the drawings were complete, this extensive makeover process began to bring to life what was to become a stately family room addition, integrated with a rear-yard entertainment area ready for summer Barbeques!

Careful to ensure that our client's desire to have each mature tree preserved during the renovation process, we required the employment of an experienced arborist. The protruding limbs were trimmed back from the construction areas as well precautions taken to ensure that Pinnacle’s excavation process would not significantly damage the roots located near the foundation area of the new addition.

Creating the space required for our client’s extensive wish list involved completely dismantling the existing solarium, then adding an engineered beam assembly positioned to support the original structure’s roof system. This now opened up the opportunity to add a stunning sunken family room. Completely dismantling the existing deck, and removing the hot-tub, now allowed Pinnacle’s crews to begin the makeover in earnest.

Our client’s wish-list began to unfold; taking advantage of the stunning golf course views included vaulted ceilings and generous ‘Rake’ windows installed in the vaulted portion of the gables. Added to this inviting area was a massive 50” wood burning fireplace complete with concrete mantel and hearth detail; all surrounded by a custom-built Maple wall unit stained a rich dark-burgundy color.

Finishing off this fabulous space was a complete state-of-the-art audio & TV system complemented by a 52” plasma on a multi-position swing-arm. Our client’s love for golf now provides the opportunity to enjoy their wonderful golf-course views, and enjoy all the televised PGA games and tours from the fully-integrated 52” HD Plasma TV.

Our client also requested that the dining room be re-positioned in the existing home. This was accomplished by the removal of unnecessary walls, which now nicely positions the dining room table in a way to take full advantage of the existing central fireplace. New windows were added to this space, as well as a complete continuation of custom stained oak hardwood carried throughout the kitchen, dining & newly added family room areas. A warm palate of rich stain and paint colors along with a collection of designer-sourced light fixtures and lighting design, captivate your senses as you step into the front foyer.

Wrapping up the final details included custom, sold-fir Garden doors strategically placed to create an invitation to the fabulous new patio area. A built-in barbeque flanked by stone-clad pedestals complete with concrete counters, newly relocated hot-tub, again flanked by stone-clad pedestals, and a circular patio built with exotic hardwood now provides our client with a fabulous outdoor retreat.

Once again, through the perseverance of a dedicated remodeling team, along with our client’s very specific design direction, allowed the Pinnacle Group to transform this classic two story home in desirable Willow Park, into a client-specific sanctuary!
